Mission

Our mission is to empower students in our community by providing age-appropriate, switch adapted toys that encourage participation and exploration in diverse play and leisure activities. We aim to enhance Clark’s Toy Library, offer informative resources, trainings, and workshops for parent education, and support families in customizing toys to meet their children’s unique needs. Additionally, we strive to provide switch-adapted toys to enrich the play experiences of Fletcher Miller students and families throughout the greater Denver community.

Vision

Our vision is to create an inclusive environment where every student at Fletcher Miller School and the greater Denver community has the opportunity to thrive through play. We envision a community where parents are well-informed and equipped to modify toys for their children, ensuring that all children can enjoy meaningful experiences in play and recreation. We aspire to be a leader in utilizing assistive technology to transform playtime into a joyful and accessible adventure for all.

  • Offering opportunities to problem solve and modify toys for Fletcher Miller School to support students in participation and exploration in a variety of play, recreation, and leisure activities through the use of assistive technology

  • Supporting the Clark’s Toy Library shared by Fletcher Miller School students

  • Supporting parent and service provider education through learning opportunities: newsletters, workshops, and resources specific on the process of adapting toys

  • Supporting Fletcher Miller and Jeffco families who may to modify toys for their child to engage in play in a variety of settings

  • Offering switch-adapted toys and switches to families of Fletcher Miller, Jeffco students, and the local community (x1 per year)
